Doggiestyle Cafe

Went to Doggiestyle Cafe for lunch before our dog training class started (class bought from Groupon for fun). Did not want to queue like mad for the carpark again, so we ended up really early, thus the lunch. The whole cafe was empty too.

Corgi Carbonara
Eunice had a Carbonara (well, a Corgi Carbonara), though no Corgis inside. Don't get why they name the food after dog breeds though. Makes me feel as though I'm eating a dog. D:

BBQ Chihuahua
I had a BBQ Chihuahua, quite sure it's not chihuahua inside. Haha. Mango and Nugget had fun in the cooling cafe, though it was the first time I saw Mango show any signs of irritation towards other dogs because this other puppy Sheltie was being very hyper and couldn't leave Nugget and Mango alone. Hmmm. Interesting.

Nugget in the dog run.
The dog run's just outside the cafe, so you can bring your dogs there and let them loose inside for some play with other dogs. Nice that there is such a place around with a pet shop, pet cafe, dog run, dog grooming and vet in the same area, but the limitation to where they can actually go is quite frustrating. Plus, the dog run isn't that big too. The carpark is wayyyy better than Vivocity's carpark, with clear signs as to where the pet lifts are.

Love it when we get to bring the dogs out to play. =D

Dog Cafes in Singapore

There's been a recent increase in dog cafes in Singapore lately. Not just dog-friendly places (places that lets you bring your dogs but you have to dine alfresco and your dog is leashed), but places that actually allow you to off-leash your dogs within the premises while you dine. A new one just opened today (yeah like today today).

So I've decided to list them here, just in case I forget, and also it's so difficult to look for them when I want the info.

*update* 17/9/14

Paw Pet-radise Cafe (FB page)

Opening hours:
Mon: 17:00 - 23:00
Wed - Thur: 14:00 - 23:00

Sat: 11:00 - 02:00
Sun: 11:00 - 23:00
Closed on Tuesdays

So this place opened today! Haven't been there yet. Would love to go! Looks like they have 2 resident doggies, a Golden Retriever and a Siberian Husky. Looks like fun! It's occupying the location of the old Urban Pooch. I don't particularly fancy driving there because of the location. Parking's quite crappy around the area though, so take note.

Actually, I was wrong! The parking's okay as there's a HDB carpark nearby! Been there twice and found a parking lot easily! Love the place, very nice!

Doggiestyle Cafe (FB page)

Sooooo. They have shifted! Operations at nex ended as of 1st dec 2013, and they've started operating at Changi Road on the 14th Dec 2013. Okay new place to visit!!!

Sun Ray Cafe (FB page)
79 Brighton Crescent, Serangoon Gardens, Singapore 559218
Tel: 62838700

Opening hours:
Mon - Tue: 18:00 - 23:00

Fri: 11:00 - 00:00
Sat: 10:00 - 00:00
Sun: 10:00 - 23:00

Went there recently after finding out about this place! It's pretty cool. They have 2 dining sections, one side for patrons with dogs and another for patrons without, separated by a baby gate. Dogs run free, though I'm a little worried about the entrance (sliding doors), because if your dog gets past that if someone leaves it open, then it's out and onto the sidewalk/road. Maybe they should do a double door or an additional gate thing. Anyway, food for both dogs (not a huge variety) and humans! And alcohol. Great place to chill with friends (and dogs). Food's not bad. Try the truffles fries!! Place is not near Chomp Chomp, and parking's not easy to find too is a pain in the behind as there are no actual lots in front of the place, which is always occupied, and you'd probably have to park in front of someone's house. During the peak period we were there, service was quite slow, but the staff are very friendly. Good place to go!

K9 Kafe (FB page) - Closed
110 Turf Club Road, Singapore 288000
Tel: 6462 3736

Opening Hours:
Tue - Fri: 10:00 - 18:00
Sat - Sun: 09:00 - 19:30
Closed on Mondays

This place is located near the old Turf City and is part of a doggy daycare/boarding facility, K9 Kulture. The cafe actually has 2 small buildings, so just in case your doggy is not exactly comfortable with the occupants in one, you can sit in the other one. Also, there's a pool for usage during the weekends for a fee. Good if you want to bring your doggy swimming! Serves pretty good human food and a pretty wide variety of doggy food. Please try the kiwi smoothie and the caramelized bacon wrapped sausage. Da bomb. There's also a grooming salon for doggies there too. Highly recommended if you drive, because getting there is quite a pain.

*Update 29/8/13*

No longer in operation. Opened for 3months (Jan-Mar 2014). Sad to see a cafe close even though I didn't exactly love the place. But it also means one less place for us to go to =(

*17/9/14
The 4 Legged is now T.A.Z Cafe & Bistro!

T.A.Z Cafe & Bistro (FB Page)

So that's all for cafes in Singapore that lets your dog run free within the premises! Not sure if there are more, but let me know if there are! =)

*Update* I created a new label for documenting places you could possibly bring your doggy friend along, including places like parks/dog runs/beaches/cafes/restaurants. Link here >>> Dog Friendly Places <<<

7-Eleven Hello Kitty x Tokidoki

Image from 7-11 website
7-Eleven has this Hello Kitty x Tokidoki figurine thing going on since.. March? April? Anywayyy. I've been trying to buy things from 7-11 quite badly because I wanted to collect stamps. $4 = 1 stamp. I kept losing the stamps cos they are so small!!!! *angry* 6 stamps + $3.90 = 1 figurine or 18 stamps = 1 figurine. Seriously, pick the 6stamps option! They won't be available for long and that means you have to spend wayyy more to get the Kitties. Plus, they are in blind boxes, so you won't know what you are getting, which makes it tougher to buy.

For this entire period of time, I have honestly only managed to get one on my own. Then bf surprised me by buying me the full set!!! *jumps around* So super duper happy!!! Btw this happened on 11th May. LOL. Was too busy/lazy to blog about it. Plus the Kitties were in display cases. Only took them all out just now to snap pictures then put them back in the cases.

MINE *click for bigger picture!!*
Love love love this set!! They are so adorable. =D Thank you bf!!!
