The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory lyrics
By The Barenaked Ladies

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall [we built the pyramids],
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with the big bang!

"Since the dawn of man" is really not that long,
As every galaxy was formed in less time than it takes to sing this song.
A fraction of a second and the elements were made.
The bipeds stood up straight,
The dinosaurs all met their fate,
They tried to leap but they were late
And they all died [they froze their asses off]
The oceans said, "pangea
See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya"
Set in motion by the same big bang!

It all started with the big BANG!

It's expanding ever outward but one day
It will pause and start to go the other way,
Collapsing ever inward, we won't be here, it wont be heard
Our best and brightest figure that it'll make an even bigger bang!

Australopithecus would really have been sick of us
Debating how were here they're catching deer (we're catching viruses)
Religion or astronomy, Descartes, Deuteronomy
It all started with the big bang!

Music and mythology, Einstein and astrology
It all started with the big bang!
It all started with the big BANG!

---------------------------------------------

I really like this song. From The Big Bang Theory (the show). Lol. You should try searching for it on the Internet or just ask from me. It's a very very catchy song. =D

New Moon's Essence of Chicken

Yum.

Something to perk me up and make me a little happier on a blue Monday. *yawn*

I still prefer Brand's Essence of Chicken, but this will do. For now. =D

Papillons

Overview: The Papillon originated in the 16th century, a popular lap breed of nobles and aristocracy in Europe. The French translation of Papillon is Butterfly, which they resemble with the white blaze on the forehead as the body, and the fringed ears as the wings. They are quite often considered to be a dainty breed, but in reality are well balanced and lively.

Character: The Papillon is always alert, playful, and elegant. They are intelligent and friendly, taking great delight in meeting and greeting everyone they come into contact with. The Papillon does not display a shy or aggressive nature.

Temperament: The Papillon possesses a petite appearance, but they are a sturdy and hardy breed. They are highly energetic and athletic, but are also calm and patient. They are gentle and affectionate and love to be cuddled. A steady and obedient breed, the Papillon does well with older considerate children. They may display possessiveness of their owner. The Papillon is quick to alert their family to danger or visitors, and may have a propensity to bark at all sights and sounds. However, they are not yappy or high strung. The Papillon is a lovely companion.

Care: The Papillon is a moderate shedder. Therefore, they need to be brushed several times a week. It is important to pay particular attention to the hair behind the ears and on the stomach as these areas are prone to matting. They should only be bathed when necessary, dry shampooing will typically suffice. It is important to keep the pads of their paws trimmed to prevent splaying. The Papillon is prone to various health issues such as cataracts, patellar luxation, and Von Willebrand's disease.

Training: The Papillon is extremely obedient and has an uncanny ability at problem solving. They require intense socialization at an early age, most notably with cats. They do very well in obedience and agility, and are highly trainable in the competitive show ring. They also make excellent therapy and service dogs. They respond best to consistent, loving, gentle guidance. The Papillon also loves to learn and perform tricks. They are typically easy to housetrain.

How can you say 'no' to this?

Should I?

Should I buy this? $125. Ladies' Bike. TEMPTED.

Should I get this or a mountain bike then attach a basket to the mountain bike? Or should I go to NTUC and get the pink ladies' bike? Choices choices. But I keep having this feeling that the one at NTUC is smaller. O.O Crap. Why don't they have ladies' bike with gears in SG? And at an affordable rate.

Does cycling around AMK/Bishan require gears? If I attempt to cycle to Aunt's place, I'd probably push, gear or no gear. O.O Is it difficult to cycle? Maybe I should attempt to rent one and try. =.= NOOOO. Hahahaha. I don't know how to pick a bicycle! @.@ Because I'm not very sure what I want. =(

I just want a bicycle with a basket, looks good, and can cycle around. =.=

Puuuuupppppyyyy

I actually dreamt I had a puppy. O.O Oh so adorable!!! Soft, cute, obedient. Hahahaha. I was definitely dreaming.

Eueu and I went through the list of approved breeds for HDB, and came up with a shortlist of breeds I might want to get. Lol. Major elimination!!! O.O

From 62 breeds, we have like 5 left? LOL.

- Japanese Spitz
- Miniature Dachshund (Long hair)
- Papillon
- Pomeranian
- West Highland Terrier

Now for further elimination. Hurhurhur. I want I want I want. My 1st choice would be a Papillon, but its a little rare and expensive? O.O Eueu said no to my choice of a Shetland, and frankly, I don't want an identical breed. LOL. Even though Echo is damn cute. @.@

You.

Things have been rough and tough lately.
What with me trying to catch up with schoolwork and work in general.
There was even a squabble between us (from my stupidity). =(

But when I see you, things just can't go wrong.
Because you make me smile the brightest.
You make me happier than ever. =D

Cakes for breakfast.

Breakfast consisting of Canele's Strawberry Shortcake, New York Cheesecake and a Rose Macaroon. Yums!

Haha. Had 'breakfast' with Sis after my dental appointment. =D We should've just ran to McDonald's and tried to make it in time for their breakfasts. LOL.

All of us wanted to eat certain dishes. Hahaha. Didn't order as many as the previous round. About 6 dishes? Plus complimentary fruit platter.

LOBSTERRRR. My favourite!!

The best lobster salad. Lol. I just like lobster salad.

The Sims 3!

Look what MMS I received from The Greatest Sister Ever yesterday. Hahahaha.

YES YES YES!!! The Sims 3!!! Collector's edition!!!

Game box containing...

... Omgosh what a perfect thing! =X

The whole reason I wanted the Collector's Edition was for this....

Plumb-bob!! It's a thumbdrive!!! With a carabina clip!!!

Look!! 2gb thumbdrive!!!

I can add that to my Magnum thumbdrive. Lol.

And anyway. I think I have truly hit an all time high of unluckiness.

1. I dropped my camera onto the curb in Japan. It even bounced off and hit the curb again. It now has a hugeass dent in a corner and the shape is a little weird now.

2. My pretty pink Pixon fell from my study table, and has 2 dents now. The paint came off a little. Wtf.

3. I wore slippers to school and realised I had lab (we need to wear shoes) on the way there and had to buy a pair of shoes before class.

4............

I BLOODY DROPPED THE THING ON THE FLOOR THE SAME DAY IT WAS BOUGHT! WTFWTFWTFWTF.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This cannot be happening to me. Shit. I'm so going to glue it back together. NOOOOOO. Argh shit.

P.S: I am such a geek.

We were talking about our dreams...

Was talking to Eueu today and... Well. I think we have similar wishes?

Like what I said, it'll take about 100 years to save money for a $2.6mil house at $2000/mth. Lol. And that's my aim. Though I know I'll never live till like 120+++. =.=

Anyway, we both want to own our own shop. Or something. Probably pet-related shop. Pet cafe? A pet-cafe with pet boarding, pet day-care, pet shop, pet grooming. Sounds like alot, but its not actually. Because the pet cafe is the main part of the shop = kitchen, with grooming in a room, only few boarding so we won't have too many to handle + give more care to the boarders, and pet shop area will sell essentials only, and day care... depends. Hahaha. It'll be tough, but I'm not even sure if it'll earn money. =( We even thought of the location (if possible). Apparently we want the same things. But that does not necessarily come true. Not unless I strike TOTO or something. =.= It'll even have an instant camera so everyone can paste pictures of them with their pets on the walls (1st timers only). Lol. I wouldn't mind doing that. And also serve good human food. =.= Pet cafes usually have pretty awful human food. Not that I judge but, food is just sub-par.

I think the research period before starting would be taxing, but fulfilling. Even just imagining it is hair-pulling. Lol. How I wish we could really do it.

AJA AJA FIGHTING!!

P.S: Japan trip updates will be below this entry, but I don't really have the time to do it. So... Erm. Hahaha.

My new wallet!!

My new new new precious hot pink Samantha Thavasa Petit Choice wallet from Japan!!!

After countless shop-hopping in Japan to find my perfect wallet, I found it! =))

I don't think it's available in SG? I hope so. Wahahaha. Though I think the shop at Jurong point has it, but it's not like SG has a dedicated shop or brings this brand in like Burberry/Gucci/LV. I hope this stays hard to find. =X

Tokyo Trip Day 1, 090609

I'm home!! Hahaha. Now being self-quarantined at home. Hmmm. Shall post some pictures at the moment.

Day 01!

Okaerinasai! Hahaha. Welcome to Japan! JAL, Japan Airlines. =)

In the train to Shinjuku, where our hotel is.

Suica card! It's like your regular ezlink card. Very cool. And train stations are so huge. It's not fun walking from one platform to another carrying tons of stuff. =.= Lol. Group picture taken with my camera balanced on my luggage. LOL. And Sis giving Julius the evil eye. Julius + Stitch on holiday!

Shinjuku + Hotel.

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. Room is small, but very comfy. I love the comforters there. SO FLUFFY!! Shiok. Stitch slacking around.

LUNCH! Curry ramen.

Lunch at some random shop far far away from the hotel before we checked in. Food was realllyyy good. Yummy. Why don't we have such food in SG? Lol. And yes, I'm wearing a bib in the picture. =X

Ussss.

During the ride to Obaiba. Lol.

Aqua City @ Odaiba. Statue of Liberty!! Rainbow Bridge.

Wind was super strong there. Probably because of the open water? Lol. Walking around was fun, but very very tiring.

Our dinner!! Omu rice. (From top: Bro's Pizza Gratin Omu Rice, my Tomato Cheese Omu Rice, Mum's Cream Prawn Omu Rice, Sis' Tomato Cream Omu Rice, Salad, Shop Front, Icecream, Utensils, Drink)

Dinner was really really good. But serving was too big though. Ate till we almost burst. Lol.

Walked over to... Palette Town/Mega Web/Venus Fort (they're all located next to each other). Lol. There's an extremely huge ferris wheel there, but we didn't ride it. AND WE DIDN'T GO KIAP TOYS!! =( Extremely upset. Venus Fort was huge, like VivoCity. Lol. Loads of things there. Mega Web has a Toyota showroom, which we didn't enter because it was closed for the day already. But apparently they have models we don't see in Sg. =(

Palette Town! + Tokyo Teleport Station. It's one of the train stations. Lol. TELEPORT!!!

And thus ends Day 01. =D

Finally found my gladiators.

I finally found a pair that I liked! Okay actually I found one before this, but I didn't buy it and I couldn't find it anymore. Which was a total regret. And I wanted something that buckles higher up, in white. BUT THIS PAIR TOTALLY ROCKS. Even though they look unimpressive here. Hahaha. Because my legs look good in them. Hurhur. =X And I can always find another pair in Japan. =D

And Sis finally bought her luggage. Hahahaha. I totally love it. And I managed to get her to buy red, not black! =D Shopping mayhem yesterday night after class. Hahaha.

Ermmm. We went to Canele for dinner. FOR THE CAKE! Lol. I love the strawberry shortcake there. CREAAAAAMMMM. Sis had the Corn and Crab soup, and I had the beef stew thingy. Nice. =D I still like the cake more. And serving was too large. Couldn't finish the food. Lol.

WE'RE GOING TO JAPAN TONIGHT!!! OMGOSH.

Mum's loot from Genting.

Mum's loot.

Ermm. Mum came home from Genting yesterday night. With the above toys. She caught them there, at Genting. Hahahahaha. Now my Mum seems like a pro already. O.O AND THEY ARE ALL MINE!! YAY!!

By the way, can you guess what Disney character the 1st one in the top row is? It took me about 1/2 hour to figure out. =.= Totally don't look like it. At least not what I imagined it to be. LOL

3 Years and Counting!

Hurhur. The day started out with me going to the dentist's. =.= Dentist on this day. But oh well, it was in the morning, so it wasn't so bad. =)

Came home, and he came over with a huge bag. O.O Ermm... I nudged the bag and heard glasses clinking inside. LOL. Finally found out what it was. Hurhur. PICNIC!!! XD He made them himself!!! Woo. Super nice. And the glasses were like 4 bottles of sparkling Ribena. Hahahaha. =D And he told me we're going to Dempsey Road to eat curry for dinner! So he looked up driving directions and told me where to go. O.O

Sent Sis to a wedding thingy after picnicking, then we went to J8 to watch....

Monsters vs. Aliens!!

But we didn't catch it in 3D. Lol. The show was pretty good actually. But the start was not very exciting. =.= Only the 2nd half of the show was good. Hahaha. Lame jokes. Too bad we didn't have enough time to watch Night at the Museum 2. =( Had Mos Burger after the show, and we sat around the same corner we 1st sat at on our 1st date! Some idiotic students were studying in our seats. *RAWR* Lol.

Drove to Dempsey Road, parked and walked around the place. I didn't know there was a Long Beach there. Cool. Looked rather nice. Places there looked super expensive. O.O Walked around and saw Samy's Curry place. Hahaha. We walked further on and we saw this place "LaFondue". FONDUE!! So I suggested that for dessert after curry, and he said we were eating at LaFondue instead. And he even made reservations!! XD I was all prepared to eat curry. =.= LOL.

Yummy food!!

We ordered 2 appetisers, Mexican Tempura and some Mushroom toast thing? Because the Jalapeno Peppers were too spicy for me. =( And guess what? I had to pick the spiciest of all 4. The other 3 were not that spicy at all. =.= But the mushroom toast was REALLY GOOD. Although I would recommend sharing among 4 people. Hahahaha. Huge servings.

AND THE FONDUE!! Cookies and cream! Dark chocolate with crumbled Oreo cookies and white chocolate drops + strawberries. YUMMY!! And the pot was huge. Although it was the double boiler that was huge. Hahahaha. Fruits were sooooo nice. And the icecream. BEST!! I love vanilla, and their vanilla tasted sooooo good. With chopped nuts inside. Deeeeelicious. And it didn't melt very fast too. Which was good. We even used spoons to 'drink' the leftover chocolate from the pot. Hahahahaha. And the service was superb. I love the coziness. Though he thinks the place will not survive for long. Lol. Because buisness seemed a little slow. Hmmm. I want to go back there again if possible!!

I HAD A TOTALLY WONDERFUL TIME TODAY!!

Thank you dear! ^-^ Happy 3rd Year Anniversary and counting!! XD

I love you. <3

We are SOOO going!!

Oh. Yay! This time next week we'll be soaking in the cultures of Japan. Woohoo! Nihon e ikimasu! Hurhur.

Japanese Spitz

They are oh-so-damn-cute. =D Like a bigger white fluffy silky pomeranian.

They're still cute when fully grown. Hurhur.

But the only things that I'm concerned about 2 genetic problems. One is the runny eyes thing. White dogs with tear stains? So not good. And also about the patellar luxation (slipping patella). Slipping kneecap? Will become a problem if it happens in your dog. Bleh. Must pick carefully. O.O

I WANT!
