Right way to finish your ice-cream...

Savour the taste. Eat slowly till you're almost done.

Try to dig out the icecream. Darn glass. Why is it so tall?!

Tilt the glass on it's edge and try to dig whatever there is out.

When all else fails, knock back the whole glass and drink it all up.

What's this?

Eunice's fingerprints after touching the chocolate-coated cherries. Yuck.

My finished Ring-a-ding-a-ling.

Bored me waiting for slow Eunice to finish her icecream.

We went to Bugis because we were both freaking bored and both decided not to waste a Friday. Friday!!! And to go home straight after school?! The horrors!!!

Bugis' most famous fountain. The picture looks weird because when I took this, the fountain thingy just finished. Mist I think. Stupid effects.

Swensens was good. I love the icecream!!! Walked around looking at stuff and doing almost nothing. Just plain window shopping. You can't do much when you're broke, right?

The Paris Miki at Bugis is disgusting. I'm not referring to the spectacles they sell, but instead at the shop's exterior. Hello? They are supposed to be selling spectacles to help improve eyesight, not worsen it.

See?! There are two layers to that stupid display. The red stripes going from right to left diagonally underneath and the white vertical lines one the glass in front. When you walk, then stripes MOVE. I actually thought I was seeing things and did a double-take. Eunice did too. We cursed because it occupied quite a bit of the walkway, making it impossible for us to actually miss it. Freak. I hate this type of displays.

The Mickey Industries also has something like that. But not very noticable. It covers the column on the right of the entrance. The wall is full of comic strips of the old Mickey and it is a total blur. The only indication (of me not being suddenly blind) I had when I saw that after looking up from the displays was the Mickey at the bottom right corner of that blasted picture.

Hmmm... An entry at last.

I detest mood swings.

I hate mood swings. I loathe mood swings. Especially events leading to the change in moods, leading me from good to bad moods in the space of a second.

I suddenly realized that I no longer have any interest in the Computing and Mathematical Methods II module anymore. It's going from computing to mathematics. And I detest maths. I prefer computing, thank you very much. I'm just simply losing interest to do anything. This sucks big time. Ugh.

Presentation's in a few minutes' time. I'm dreading it.

P.S: I love my fat legs. =D

Update: I'm much better now. Mood finished swinging. Hahaha. There's an additional entry on 25th July. I love blogging. Helps alot. *grins* Who can feel moody when there are pictures of Thierry to look at? Hahaha...

The aftermath...

Went to Sakae at Bishan J8 yesterday after school to celebrate my Bro's birthday (as mentioned in previous post) Was majorly late, but at least I managed to make it to the buffet. Hehe. The food was really very nice. I love the seasoned scallop-like sushi, tamago sushi and soft-shell crab wrapped in seaweed. Ended up bloated.

I'm so freaking fat.

I must go on a diet one of these days. Bet it'll never come.

It was fun because we actually went to take neoprint. NEOPRINT EH!!! My mother taking neoprint, mind you. Can you imagine your mother taking neoprints with you and your siblings? I couldn't, until yesterday. Hah.

To sum it up, it was a filling day, literally. The ambience in Sakae is really good. I love sushi! Fresh only. Haha. I have no wish for diarrhea.

I'm so freaking fat.

I love fatty food.

How?! Ugh. Heck. I'm not going to care anymore. As long as I don't grow shorter (how in the world do you grow shorter?!), I'm happy as I am now. Hee. No more putting on weight for me. No can do.

<- SUSHI!!!
A picture of my new fighting fishes (is there such a word? because I remember that there was no plural form for "fish"). Left - male, right - female. The male looks distorted only because of the shape of the tank. No biggie.

He looks so at home among the soft toys that even his position is similar. (I know my bed looks at though a typoon hit it, but that can't be help. I was reading with my pillow, bolster and blanket at the foot of the bed, nearer to light.) Heh.

Hmmm... Looks like a great read... But... I can't flip the pages....

Mummy! Can you help me?

Ooooh... I love Thierry to bits!!! He is so adorable!!!

I shall go hug him to bed.

Happy Birthday my Brother....

I totally forgot about my brother's birthday. This morning when he came and woke me up, he told me "Jie, 6.45am le!!!". All I did was to raise my head and say, "So?". OH MY GOSH. I FEEL FREAKIN' GUILTY. I only remembered that it was his birthday after he left for school, I woke up and was wide awake and saw my calendar. I WANTED TO BURY MYSELF. HOW COULD I FORGET MY BROTHER'S BIRTHDAY?! And I have actually given him his present on Sunday.

This goes to show that you should never disturb me when I'm sleeping. I don't know what I'm talking about when I'm semi-concious.

Boohoohoo... Jie forgot my birthday... *sob*

Hahaha... I love my Bro. He's just so cute, round and irritating. Lol. Just joking. My classmates say that he looks about Primary 4!!! Really?!

Heh. Better get back to work, otherwise a particular idiot will nag. Muahahaha.

P.S: Mummy just called to say that we'll be meeting Sis and Bro for sushi later! Yay!

My Angel...

We've been playing this game "Angels and Mortals" in Cell. This is the third week running. Maybe fourth. Can't remember.

Anyway, I figured that my Angel is kind of weird because the food (all food up till now) is not food that everyone likes. Thank God I actually like these food stuff. Hehe.

1st Gift.

Almond Wafer Biscuits. I love almond jelly!!! Quite a number of the girls didn't like the wafer though. Sad.

2nd Gift.

Guilinggao. Made from turtle shell powder if I remember correctly. Lychee. Hahaha. I love the one with pearl powder from Eu Yan Seng. Nice. I like the herbal tea eggs from there too. But it's super expensive, $0.80 each. Herbal stuffs, I like. Yum. *smacks lips*

I have no idea who my Angel is, while almost everyone in Cell knows who their Angel is. I am just so slow. *sobs* But that makes it even more fun than knowing who it is. I just hope that my Mortal does not find out who his/her Angel is. Hah.

A beautiful Sunday (minus the morning drizzle/rain)

My blogging activities has been retarded somewhat for the past 2 weeks (I think). Blogging just once a week! ONCE A WEEK, mind you. I remember vaguely that there was a time when I blogged faithfully for almost everyday of the week. Hmmm. Blogger's block, I assume. Heh.

Anyway, some interesting things have happened during the week. For example, I skipped school on Thursday and did nothing but slack the whole day. Oh wait. That wasn't interesting, it's just downright boring. =D

The day before one of my classmate, Song De's 17th birthday. We managed to collect some money from the willing students in my class to buy some pizzas to celebrate his birthday. Mission accomplised.

I'm like super lazy, can? I took this compiled picture from Suhailah's blog so I don't have to edit and upload the pictures one by one. Can't see me in any of the pictures because I was the camera woman! Heh.

Manda and Shan came over for a catch up session. Had loads of fun, naturally, with these two in the house.

I finished Harry Potter at 4.30am! I started reading after finishing my stuff, which was at about 1am. Heh. Ended up sleeping on the bloody sofa in my room. I'll never make that mistake ever again. It just hurts my back too much. Stupid short sofa.

Mummy ordered Pizza Hut for lunch to an early celebration (again) of my Bro's birthday. Grandma was the one who suggested it!!! She actually likes it! Anyway, Grandpa didn't really like it. Guess because Mummy was not very considerate when ordering. Almost all contained chicken, when Grandpa doesn't take chicken. I have no idea why.

Was super bored to bits, so Sis and I planned to go out. Was about to leave the house when Manda sms-ed to say that she was free. How very lucky! Heh. Took cab down to pick Manda up from Amk then went to Orchard. Had a pretty fun time there.

Was to buy a birthday present for my Bro, but we couldn't find it and ended up back in Amk Central. Square One. Hmmm. Got his stupid Stickfas thingy when he came down to meet us. Those things look spastic!!! Anyway, Manda stayed on till about 9.30pm. Wah! Almost didn't have time to bathe and sleep.

AND!!! I WATCHED CSI!!! CSI, CSI: NY AND CSI: MIAMI!!! I LOVE CSI!!! CSI season finale on Thursday 9pm (I think)!!! 2 hours special!!! Directed by Quentin Tarantino (Kill Bill). Very very cool!!!

My blog entries get shorter and shorter each time I see them. Hmmm... Wonder what's happening?

I hate LEO...

Thanks alot. I rushed all the way home just to see that LEO is under maintenance. Thanks a million.

Cell ended late today. I'm having a splitting headache from the lack of sleep and everything goes wrong, slowly, fatally.

Freaking hell. I don't feel like going to school tomorrow. I feel like vomiting after the stupid bus ride. Is it every driver's job to give their passengers carsickness? Fuck.

I can't be bothered anymore.

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince

IT'S OUT NOW!!! YAY!!! Finally it's out, but too bad I didn't buy it. Heh. Manda!!! I'll pester you until you finish reading it!!!

I woke up late today, and missed the talk for SAS students. Crap. Lost freakin' points. Oh how I loathe this. I stayed at home the whole day. Too many events going on today.

- Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. I didn't want to leave the house to see smug asses out there carrying their new book.
- SAS talk/workshop. Woke up late. Enough details.
- BloggerCon. I wished someone would go with me, but to no avail. Bleh.
- Church. I have to say that I'm not a regular church goer. Sorry. It's just too long a journey there, and back.
- Lost marathon. 5 back-to-back episodes on AXN! I watched it last week, but missed it this week. I guess I'll just have to buy the vcds/dvds.
- My Love Patzzi. Korean Drama. I finished 8/10 of the discs today. Watched the 1st 2 yesterday night. Maybe that's why I couldn't wake up.

Mummy says to wake up early to go Mac for breakfast. I told her what I wanted to eat just in case I can't wake up (most probably so). Hotcakes with sausage. She woke me last weekend but I went back to bed. I went back to bed dreaming of hotcakes with sausage. Bad for my stomach. I'll make sure I get to eat it tomorrow. Darn.

It's already 2am! My goodness. I adjusted the time of the entry so it fits the date I want this entry to be on. Heh. July 16th. HARRY POTTER!!! I want to read!!!

P.S: I removed the countdown. I don't need it anymore. =)

My week thus far...

I shall start from Saturday, because the last time I blogged (as in a sensible entry) was on a Friday.

Sunday - Watched Fantastic Four with Eunice. Rained bloody heavily when we reached Orchard with Sis. She was going for her course thingy. Bleh. Played in the arcade to while away the time. Haha. It's been ages ever since the last time I touched a gaming machine. Hee.

Monday - Went home straight after school.

Tuesday - Went home straight after school.

Wednesday - Supposed to go home straight after school, but I stopped at AMK to get a comic, Love Monster volume 8. Ended up asking Manda out. Hee. Chatted like there was no tomorrow. So nostalgic. This time last year we were doing the same thing, drinking corn soup at Mos and chatting about everything under the sun. Walked around the place and went to all the bookstores! Oh how I love the smell of paper/books. Heavenly! Hahaha. Went to check out the Harry Potter thingy at Popular. I'm still contemplating whether or not I should get it. Hmmm. Manda better finish reading it soon. Haha.

Thursday - Was on the way home when I couldn't stand going home early everyday anymore. Haha. Made Eunice go to Mac at Thomson Road with me. Played Maple there. When the batteries were almost dead, it started drizzling. Damn. Had to cross the road to get to the other side where the pet shops were. Nice.

I love the puppies! Saw so many Siberian Huskies!!! I love Siberian Huskies. Haha. There were 5 at Joy Doggy!!! So freaking cute! Especially the dark colored one with blue eyes!!!

Friday - Magic IG after school. I actually forgot to bring my cards! Thank goodness Eunice had a spare deck. Heh. No new tricks though, because we couldn't do last week's one. Bleh. Met up with Ti after Magic. Went with Ti and Eunice to Orchard for dinner.

I wanted to check out Borders' to see what they have done for the new Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, and mainly to see how many kiasu people are already queueing up. Guess what? There was one a girl, alone with one of her arms in a cast, sitting at the designated queue. AND IT WASN'T EVEN 7PM!!! That's just too much. She'll be there for more than 12 hours!!! No mean feat, I tell you. But, after entering Borders', we realized that there was this magical marathon thingy going on starting 12 midnight at Borders'. I see. 39 hours marathon. Why 39 hours? I have no idea. I just can't wait for the book to be out and for Manda to finish reading it so I can borrow it from her.

I'm too freaking lazy to post pictures. Lazy to upload them one by one. I'm just a lazy bum. Bleh.

Hang in there!

Sorry for the lack of posts.

I've been busy of late and tired out badly.

I need more sleep. Will blog tomorrow or Saturday!

I promise it'll not be a short entry.

Heh. Tough luck.

One more day to Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince! Oh how I anticipate the excitement!
Today featured it! Click here or here (pdf) and here (pdf continued) to read all about it!

Do these 2 dogs look alike? Heh. The one on the left is my classmate, Benjamin's dog. The one on the left is my fluffy toy! Uncanny resemblance, huh?

4 pairs of earrings. 1 diamond ring. A new haircut. I pair of new spectacles. Nice.

So many new things in a week. I'm going crazy. I've been buying earrings lately and I have no idea why, since I do not always wear them. Hmmm. Must be the GSS (Great Singapore Sales) affecting me my wallet. Hahaha. I've 4 pairs in two days, yesterday and today. 3 yesterday, one today. And all are the dangly types. Hmmm.

I tried to take a picture on my study table. It turned out like that. So decided to shift place.

See? Nice? The one on the right was bought today. Hee.

Earrings! Earrings for sale!!!

Went shopping with Mummy and Sis yesterday at Bugis. Fun. Mummy gave me a diamond ring her colleagues gave her for her birthday sometime back, since she wears another one (bigger too) and she (and Sis) think I have nice ring hands. Thus, the diamond ring shall own a place on my hand...

Real diamond! Oh how I love diamonds.

I went to cut my hair too, before meeting Mummy and Sis. Ti (she introduced the place, Hair Inn @ Centrepoint) and Eunice came along, but left me there at the salon. Hahaha. The stylist was very nice, very sweet. Guess I like my new hairstyle, kind of. The only thing I don't really like is that my fringe is short now, very hard to keep it straight since my hair curls. Sad.

Before I even managed to get home today, Daddy called and asked me to wait for him at the carpark to go and collect my specs. Hahaha. Grandpa quarrelled with the shop woman. Lol. Over something stupid, I guess.

Me with my new spectacles and hairstyle. Hee.

I'm all of a sudden narcisstic. Bear with me. It's not often I'm narcisstic. Only now and then. This is the now and then.

Thierry stole my mouse. Hee.

I went to school today!!!

Can you believe it?! I actually went to school today! Hah! Finally. I've been rotting at home for the past 4 1/2 days and I seriously needed some extra fresh air.

Maybe I should have stayed at home. The air's worser. TOO MANY FREAKIN SMOKERS. I don't care. Scold all you want. I've got something against smoking. Second hand smokers actually do contract lung cancer, okay? All because of INCONSIDERATE smokers like you. So please do spare a thought for the people around you, or I'll make you do it. Life's too short to make me want to join you burning from lung cancer in... Hell nevermind. I hate it when the air's polluted. How I wish that all smokers will disappear, or gather somewhere on Earth that's "Smokers only".
Get lost.
Don't say I'm being evil.
These are my views, not yours.
They don't have to conform to your views.
I say what I like.

Life is hard. But we can all be a part of it and keep it clean. Even our lungs. I'm already coughing like mad, and I still have to breathe polluted air. Sick. To me, smoking is just like doing drugs, except that it's legal. Anything that is addictive, and harms your body should be illegal. Don't come and bullshit me about games. It's different. Lung cancer? Hello? Nobody cares?

Sometimes I really want to stab myself or someone near me with a blunt pencil. That way, I can stab multiple times with the excuse that my pencil's not sharp enough. Cool.

Temper rising like my temperature...

1000 - 37.5 degrees Celcius
1100 - 37.8 degrees Celcius
1245 - 38.2 degrees Celcius
1500 - 37.3 degrees Celcius
2040 - 37.9 degrees Celcius

Is there something wrong with my eyes or what? Why do I think that my temperature is severely unstable? Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Although the phlegm is sort of gone, my throat now feels ticklish and I cough incessantly. Darn it. Dry cough. Oh how I hate it with a passion. I can't even sleep for half an hour without waking up to cough. UGH. You know, when you cough, your stomach muscles (around your abdomen) strains? Bloody hell. I can build up a six pack or so with the amount of coughing I've been doing for today alone. And it's no mean feat, mind you. Muscle ache is one thing I cannot handle well.

You know when someimes you just know what you are doing is right for yourself, even though your family is all against it? That's me and my family on the topic of freaking medicine. They (the elders) deem that the more expensive the medicine is, the better it is. In this case, it's the chinese medicine.

I just simply do not trust those chinese doctors. Hello? Who knows what that quack might have added inside? Some insect or lizard? No thank you. If you keep going on and on about all the redeeming qualities about chinese medicine, why don't you just finish my medicine for me? I don't mind, do you?

All I can say is that I take whatever medicine I think works for my body. Even though I've never finished a dosage of antibiotics, I'll do it this time just to prove you wrong. Continue nagging. I don't care. At least I feel lots better now than I was during the weekend. Just because my cough isn't cure instantaneously after taking the medicine doesn't mean that the medicine doesn't work. Don't bullshit me about chinese medicine the same way. What I say is fnal. It's my own body, not yours.

I didn't ask to be brought to a chinese doctor, so stop going on and on about the medical cost compared to the normal doctors'. Talk about wasting money. Even though I said I didn't want to go, you still brought me to the same quack. Puh-lease. The other time you brought me there and had some tonics that looked like black gunk made for me that cost more than a hundred, I didn't even finish ten of those. What makes you think I'll eat the medicine she makes?

Hello? Complaining to my dad in the living room while I'm in the kitchen listening to ever word you people utter (not that you were trying to keep your voices down) won't work. I'm me. You just can't change my way of thinking.

UGH. I just can't stand my grandparents and my father sometimes. I mean, they're nice people. Only when it comes to the subject of medicine we cannot see eye to eye with. I hate to dash their hopes, but I'll never finish those icky medicine.

On a happier note, I got my Debbie Bear yesterday! Even though it's not the ideal color, it's still the correct type of "fur" that I want! Thanks Uncle James!!!

Latest addition to the family!!!

The family. Hahaha. Hello Kitty lives in the storeroom, but I brought her out to take a picture. Hee. The rest lives in my room. I left one out too. The most loyal one, who was hidden under my blanket. Bleh. How could I?!

Here he is!!!

That's all I have for today... Hee... Nitez!

P.S: Blogging is seriously a good way of relieving stress, because even if I argue with them, they wouldn't be able to understand. That would make me more frustrated. I love blogging. =D

Rollercoaster temperature...

Seriously, I have no idea what's wrong with me. My temperature's going on a rollercoaster ride of some sort. Hate that. Sudden bursts of hot and cold is NOT FUN, okay?!

00.16 - 37.3 degrees Celcius
09.28 - 37.8 degrees Celcius
15.21 - 36.8 degrees Celcius
18.49 - 37.3 degrees Celcius
21.24 - 37.6 degrees Celcius
(I think the rise in temperature is because by now, I still haven't taken my 2nd dose of medicine. Shhhh!)

Mummy brought me to a decent doctor in the morning, because my temperature did not move a bit after taking the chinese medicine. I actually got more phelgm after taking the medcine and my throat felt worse than ever in the morning. NEVER EVER GO TO A CHINESE DOCTOR.

But, I'm happy too because I got a two day MC (from the normal doctors, of course)!!! I'm still considering whether or not I should utilise the MC. Haha. Guess I should.

Medicine taking time!

Not getting any better....

39.2 degrees Celcius. The picture looks funny because I tried to darken the numbers. It was a blur previously.

I've been sleeping the whole day. Serious. The only times that I woke up was to measure my temperature, eat food, to see the bloody doctor and take medicine. Grandma woke me up bright and early for grandpa to bring me to the doctor's. I hate the one he usually brings me to. Chinese medicine. Ugh.

Schedule for today:
9.30am - Woke up
10am - See Doctor
11am - Eat Lunch
11.30am - Sleep
6pm - Dinner
9.30pm - Blog

I've been sleeping like nobody's business. Coughing like nobody's business, too. My throat's hurting real badly. The chinese medicine is useless. My temperature did not even budge. I think it went up by abit just now, but I can't be bothered to measure it anymore. Might have done it if my phone was with me, but I left it next door. Sigh. I can't even speak a word at the moment. Don't try calling me. You'll only hear someone picking up the phone but noone's going to reply you when you speak.

I'm being nonsensical. Blah.

Freaking *toot*... stupid fever...

Fever. Says much, doesn't it? Ever since this morning, when I woke up with a very uncomfortable throat. I shouldn't have gone to school. I should have stayed at home. But, there is Magic IG after school. I don't want to miss anything! In the end, I made it through the day, barely. I hate falling ill. This sucks. Especially when I want to go out, before/during the weekend. Ugh!!!

After 15mins,

I know I should have gone home straight after school, but I wanted to meet up with Huihui, since I've not seen her in like a million years or something during Magic IG. In the end, Magic IG was cancelled. Haha. Too bad. Went to Orchard with Eunice and Huihui. Ti went to meet Zilin who's back from where ever she has been studying (I just can't remember where). Hmmm... Now my brain is starting to malfunction. I think I better rest. All I can say is that I had quite a fun yet tiring day today.
